There's been a lot of debate about a new venue for the Round Table's regular London meetings. The National Army Museum in Chelsea was great in many ways, but there were growing admin and practical difficulties.
So, ACWRT UK have just announced that from 2008 meetings are to be held at the The Civil Service Club which is is situated in Great Scotland Yard, near Trafalgar Square, Charing Cross railway station, Charing Cross Underground Station (Northern and Bakerloo lines), Embankment Underground Station (Circle and District, Northern and Bakerloo lines). Buses that run along Whitehall.
The Club is within easy walking distance from Government Offices on Whitehall and a short journey by bus or underground from the Government Offices along Victoria Street, Lambeth Bridge and near to Victoria Station. Further instructions will follow in the next meeting notice.
