Wirral Civil War Heritage TrailHeritage › Wirral Civil War Heritage Trail  As one of the major ports in the Atlantic, Liverpool was a common destination for Confederate sailors and ships. The Wirral Civil War Heritage Trail has been produced by the ACWRT (UK) in conjunction with the Civil War Preservation Trust (CWPT). Trracing all known American Civil War sites in Liverpool, it is also the first Civil War Heritage Trail in the UK (and only the second outside of the USA). Click here for a PDF image of the Trail. |
